Why & What

The demand and desire to live lives of Purpose is growing at a dramatic rate. We as a culture can’t stomach the thought of selling our lives away for a mere paycheck anymore. The point at Free Agent Academy is to discover and clarify your Purpose. Your specific Calling. Then, get you engaged in it full-time. This requires you to apply it to your vocation. Your work. That ‘thing you do’ for the best hours of most days of your life. You can’t live out your purpose by trying to fit it into the tiny margins left over in your life…nights and weekends. So, what does it take? Goodness knows there is a growing amount of information readily available to the world on Purpose, Calling, Passions, Work you Love. All great info and knowledge! So why isn’t it turning the tide and changing the world? Why hasn’t it changed YOUR world? Whole Life

‘Success’ is hard to achieve when it’s compartmentalized. We often fail in our pursuit of any personal progress in one area because we are in crisis in another area. Or we achieve a success and suffer a loss elsewhere (“I made a million bucks! But got a divorce…”). Lasting, sustainable and achievable success happens when we address the big picture. In BaseCamp we address the key areas where you must have awareness and a level of stability in order to apply your Purpose to your life and make the appropriate life adjustments. You’ll be led through a series of inventory questions that you’ll either be able to complete, or you’ll need to use the available resources to get to work…gaining needed health. An expert Guide is available in each group to provide feedback and counsel.
 

Strategy

In the same spirit as ‘Whole Life’, to pursue vocational and possibly self-employment application of your Purpose requires an overall, overlapping and consecutive strategy that works together and builds upon itself. All of our groups, classes and courses build upon each other for a precise, cohesive strategy.

Context

This is the big kahuna. To make any substantial change in our lives, we need personal attention. We need someone who can help address who we are personally, what our specific circumstances are and help us individually apply knowledge and directives to our lives. This is why people join a fitness center that contains all the equipment and directions…and first meet with a personal trainer. In areas of personal, career and business development…there are minimal options for this outside of individual coaching, which is very costly and wholly dependent upon the overall competency of one coach. At Free Agent Academy we utilize the following to knock this outta the park…
 

Community & Guides

If you want to climb Mt. Everest, you need fellow climbers, Sherpas and Guides. You don’t even think of going it alone. To discover our Purpose and apply it to our vocations, businesses and lives…we need the help of many. Going it alone is why so few make real progress. In Free Agent Academy you have fellow journeyers who are committed. They’ve invested much to be here and they need your help as much as you need theirs. We have 8 Professors, 7 Guides and 3 Support Staff. Everyone works together in our cohesive plan that conspired around…YOU.
 

Application Plan

Discovering your Purpose and Calling can now become the rudder of your vocation…and life. You can take what you learn in BaseCamp and go forth into a career, education, ministry, mission or business. We’re in it with you to give you counsel and feedback. If you desire to continue on with Free Agent Academy, you may apply for our Ascent & Summit classes. Ascent courses equip you to deftly apply your Purpose to your vocation. Summit takes you further on into Self-Employment…our favored vehicle for fully living our your Purpose and Calling. These classes take 10 students, every 60 days, through one of the most profound and valuable journeys you may ever experience. It’s costly in time and money.
