I’ve published my first book!

August 20th, 2012 by Agent Kevin Miller

book

I’m really proud. And I must admit…it’s pretty impressive that I wrote the book in one fell swoop. Actually, between sets of bench presses during my morning workout this weekend. I was just inspired, what can I say. It won’t be a problem to reprint. Matter of fact, you can easily reprint it yourself.

I sincerely hope you like my new book and it impacts your life greatly.

Yours,
Agent Kevin Miller

    Love this @agentmiller!

I thought you would. I’m trying to learn from you to send out brief notes instead of waiting to do a novel. But the point…change…you are a model of.

  • Rod Rogers

Is there an app? I want to write a book too!

    • http://www.freeagentacademy.com Kevin Miller

Yeah, it’s a 2004 Microsoft Word doc…text box, screenshot with my Macbook. State of the art!

    I Like It!! Good Idea!

    • http://www.freeagentacademy.com Kevin Miller

I have a good idea… occasionally. Especially when I’m not just reading books…

      • http://www.facebook.com/ken.miller.73550 Ken Miller

Lol ;-) This should really be in the Philosophy section.

        • http://www.freeagentacademy.com Kevin Miller

          That, or the S.O.B section…

  • http://MikeLoomis.CO/ Mike Loomis

Can I get it in hardcover? (so I can FRAME it!)

    • http://www.freeagentacademy.com Kevin Miller

Maybe I could burn it on a block of aspen wood?! Hey Mike, can’t thank you enough for your help with the Olympics! We watched a good bit, all thanks to you. My family has you in our hero shrine.

Awesome! Maybe you can hop into the RV and begin your book tour.

    • http://www.freeagentacademy.com Kevin Miller

That would be fun. Not sure the bookstores would like me much…we’ll have to meet in coffee & wine bars

How Do We Get The Book?

    • http://www.freeagentacademy.com Kevin Miller

      you got it!

  • martag

You have good timing! I just downloaded A Million Miles in a Thousand Years. Have read it but wanted to listen to it this time on my travels this week and next.

    • http://www.freeagentacademy.com Kevin Miller

That one is a life changer. Seriously, over the past couple years, I’ve heard more testimony of true, big life change from that book than any other

  • Yvette

    Genius!

    • http://www.freeagentacademy.com Kevin Miller

I have a moment here and there… Thanks Yvette

  • Michelle

    Ha! Funny. :) Good stuff.

    • http://www.freeagentacademy.com Kevin Miller

You’re not gonna buy a copy, right?!

  • Alex Grafetsberger

That’s IT!!!!! You hit the bloody nail on the head!!! Why didn’t i read
your book before downloading 3 new eBooks on self-improvement sh*T
yesterday? Hopefully Amazon will refund my Kindle :-)

    • http://www.freeagentacademy.com Kevin Miller

Hah! Well…save them. And a bit of a wrench in this is…I have a few more coming to you…

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=578637944 Theresa Lode

You so totally rock, Kevin. My life is truly enriched by knowing you and Teri. Thank you for being you!

    • http://www.freeagentacademy.com Kevin Miller

Oh wow Theresa. Thank you. And goodness…likewise. All you post on FB, I see most of it, and your perspective on life inspires me

  • jasonvandehey

Hahahahahahahahaha… so true. I have on my list to re-read In A Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day and Quitter. :)
I should add “Read and APPLY content…” :)

    • http://www.freeagentacademy.com Kevin Miller

Hey, I have to preach this to myself too. I’d rather read another, new book. But then stop and ask myself…what did I get out of the last book other than some warm fuzzies? So was it just entertainment that I can talk about on Facebook with everyone else stoked about the flavor of the day on the bestseller list, or am I going to let someone’s life work in that book actually change me?!

      • jasonvandehey

Write another book about finding vision for your life, setting goals and achieving real life change. I don’t think that one’s been written yet…

        • http://www.freeagentacademy.com Kevin Miller

yeah, I’ll get right on that

          • jasonvandehey

You could always start a podcast if that’s easier?

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1026054025 Wendy Sutter-Staas

This is great!!! an VERY true!

    • http://www.freeagentacademy.com Kevin Miller

Thanks Wendy. And remember (not) to buy a copy for all your friends!

Kevin, excellent! I am self-confessed ‘information junkie’ — there’s always so much more out there to learn about — it’s become the ‘shiny object’ that distracts me from applying what I’ve already learned. Thanks for the reminder to put that knowledge to work before accumlating more of it!

    • http://www.freeagentacademy.com Kevin Miller

Again Karen…me too. I’d much rather pick up a new, exciting book that inspires me, than really buckle down and WORK to apply from a previous book. Just like scripture, I can read it all I want. But studying and doing the work to actually quit being a jerk is so much harder. Depends on if I want a result, or just to feel good.

  • Archie

    Kevin,

You are one VERY COOL dude, and even more clever!

    I really like you, brother.

Keep rocking this world, we need you now more than ever.

    Your bud,

    -Archie

P.S. I LOVE your new book!

    • http://www.freeagentacademy.com Kevin Miller

Thank you brother, you always inspire me. The world needs your encouragement more than they need me.

      • Archie

Well then, perhaps they need the both of us then!
        Rocket!!!

  • Samela

    Thank you!

    • http://www.freeagentacademy.com Kevin Miller

      You’re welcome Samela!

      why thank you Jeff!

Ya know I actually believed you at first because you are REALLY capable of such a feat! Sooooo true, attained knowledge without Doing said knowledge is just a bunch of dormant info and wasted time ultimately. When I attend a conference I intend on taking it for all it has and then some and I actually believe I can change my life with all that “new” info(takes a lot of work though). Many people let most of what they hear go in one ear and out the other. Seems so senseless to take the time to listen in the first place.
Thank you for reminding me that my sometimes slow and very in-depth nature has its benefits.
    Blessings,
    Carolyne

You are too flattering to me. I’m eager to write my book…even in the face of TOO MUCH out there already. Thank you for being an example of someone who seeks to change and grow…not just pass through!
