How what you are good at and enjoy matches your strengths
June 28th, 2012 by Agent Kevin Miller
This is relevant for anyone, but our focus today was teens. We gave them a personality profile and this exercise was to help them understand how to utilize it in real life.
Today I’m joined by a handful of the teens here at the Manuelito Navajo Children’s Home. Deb Ingino of ‘MyWiredStyle.com’ and ‘StrengthLeader.com’ provided them with her custom personality profiles for teens. Today we are going to have the teens share a few things in the past they felt they were good at, AND enjoyed. Then match those up with their personality styles to understand how their natural strengths fed into their competency and joy.
This will be helpful for you, especially if you’ve taken a DISC profile. And if you have kids or lead kids, it will be a great tutorial on how you can better help them understand and exploit their strengths so they man excel…and escape mediocrity. You can ask Deb any questions during the show.
