Who has a biz or idea and is struggling to grow it?
December 7th, 2011 by Agent Kevin Miller
Today I invited anyone who has a biz or idea and is struggling to grow it, to show up for the live Free Agent Underground Show. We had a good number show up, and we had time to address the five submissions shown below. Here my replies and the conversation in the audio posted at the bottom:
George Frye
“Ok, I want to start a coaching business for kids. I want to teach them about entrepreneurship and also proper business etiquette. I want to teach them how to start a business and as a project break the kids into groups and have them start a business and get it up and running. I also want to have a problem solvers program where the kids form a rountable group and they take one problem and discuss on how to solve that problem on three different levels.”
Kimberly Jones-Anthony
“Still kicking around the idea of something teen related to help parents in my situation with very active teens find employment that can work around their schedules. My son plays sports year round (fall – Football; winter – basketball; spring – baseball) I can’t (nor do I really want) see him fitting into a fast food resturant/grocery store and keeping his 92.5 GPA.”
Jason H. Garey
“Mine is www.buzzmarketeer.com. It is the result of an attempt to win a contest and has been buzzing around in my skull and chest for four years. I’m blogging to gain some forward momentum and get my bearings. I believe it’s a great platform, but almost too many ideas to pick from. My heart is in encouraging others to think for themselves, seek the Creator for purpose and passion.”
Jason Vandehey
“Many ideas for this – Portrait photography business. Homeschool photography training website / curriculum. (private website, subscription). Couple of podcasts (one for family discipleship, one for photography portrait stories / technical).”
Ron Olsen
“Currently trying to pull together information for a new project I want to call “The Time is Now” a call to end procrastination and to become more accountable for action or lack of action.”
