Recently a friend and past Free Agent Academy member Jason Garey posted an audio on Facebook and tagged me. I try to at least check in on anything someone directs towards me, so I clicked the link and an audio immediately started playing. Seeing it was just over 4 minutes, I let it keep going.
The message that followed more than inspired me…it gave me something to ASPIRE to.

My brother Jared always felt a pull to serve and give to the ‘least of these’. Literally, the most downtrodden. From homeless people when he was a kid, giving them every cent he had, to ultimately, prostitutes in Rwanda. Today he lives in Mombasa, Kenya, where he and his wife Ilea have devoted themselves to north Africa at large.
Jared comes from the same Caucasian parents I do, and we were raised together in Kentucky suburbia. Jared is just not at home in America. The poorest people here are wealthy by global standards, with a glut of opportunity and every resource at their fingertips. He has no more desire to serve the American population than he does to donate money to Donald Trump. > read more
